Guided tour in Sacsayhuamán is one of the most incredible buildings in the world. It is believed that it began to be built during the Inca Pachacutec government in the 15th century.
It is believed that more than 20 thousand men extracted the stones from the nearby quarries and transferred them 20 kilometers to the hill in the city of Cusco.
Today, Sacsayhuaman is estimated to retain only 40 percent of its old structure. Even so, the site has structures of up to 125 tons in weight.

Guided tour of Ollantaytambo is a town in the Sacred Valley of southern Peru, located on the Urubamba River in the middle of snowy mountains. It is known for the ruins of Ollantaytambo, a huge Inca fortress with large stone terraces on a hillside. The main sites within the complex include the huge Temple of the Sun and the Princess Baths fountain. The old town is a grid of cobbled streets and adobe buildings from the Inca era.

Day 3: Machupicchu Full Day
Stop At: Machupicchu District, Peru
Guided visit to the famous sacred city of the Incas. You will determine, with your tour guide, the best time to start your day. Most people prefer to go up at 4 am on foot to the bus station to take one of the first buses to Machu Picchu. It can be fun to get to the ruins as soon as they open, at 6am, to catch the magic mists over the ruins as the sun rises. After a 25-minute bus ride to Machu Picchu, your guide will take you to the best views before the hikers arrive. Then, we will start the two-hour guided walking tour, exploring all the famous places of this impressive citadel: the Temple of the Sun, the Royal Tomb, the Intiwatana (rock of the sphere of the sun), the Main Square, the Temple of the 3 windows. The artisan sector, The temple of the condor and many others. After the tour, you will have time to explore the ruins on your own. If you have reserved climbing permits. Huayna Picchu Mountain or Machu Picchu Mountain, you will go to that adventure. If you decide not to book a walk, you can go up to Puerta del Sol and witness its incredible views. Around 2:30 or 3 pm, you will need to take the bus back to Aguas Calientes to enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants located there. Make sure you arrive at the train station 30 minutes before your departure. Our train schedule is generally at 4:20 pm to Ollantaytambo, where you will take our private transportation for another two hours of trip back to Cusco. If you want to upgrade the train to Vistadome class service, you will have the option to leave at 4:43 pm or 5:23 pm Both Vistadome trains will take you to Poroy station where our driver will pick you up and drive you. Back to Cusco.
Note: the Inca site of Machu Picchu is different from the Machu Picchu mountain. When most people refer to Machu Picchu, they are referring to the archaeological site. Machu Picchu mountain requires a separate permit to climb. Please notify us if you are interested and we can reserve this for you. It must be done in advance and is part of your entry to the site.
