Tony Garnier Urban Museum
The urban museum is very original. It is located outdoors, and decorates the walls of a "Bon Marché" housing estate built in the 1930s by a genius architect: Tony Garnier. The 26 painted walls, created by the Cité de la Création in 1985, tell the story of this architect's inventiveness, the Industrial City project he had created, and the search for an ideal city as seen by other artists. We will discover them all during the guided tour, and will evoke the ideal city according to each one.
