New Zealand is full of so many picturesque locations that you can spend the entire trip with your camera/phone clicking away. But, there's also a 'special' collection of locations extra worthy of your attention and sure to create a buzz on your Insta feed! Here's a good sample of them....from South to North. Not surprisingly, the South has a larger share, but the North still has some amazing locations.

Lake Pukaki and its extreme aqua colour is visible from miles away, but the colour is still brilliant (almost fake looking) when you get there
Blue Pools, is as the name suggests a spectacular beach-like haven of blue in amongst the Haast Mountains
The Icebergs at the end of the Hooker Valley Track are as unexpected as they are magnificent
Lindis Pass is a beautiful stretch of winding road in the middle of Otago
The gorgeous Church of the Good Shepherd on Lake Tekapo draws visitors from around the world
Sunset and sunrise reflections on Lake Matheson with Mt Cook in the background are about as picture postcard perfect as it gets
Franz Josef Glacier.....slowly (though too quickly) retreating up the hill
The deep teal/turquoise waters of Hokitika Gorge are the major drawcard of this remote west coast town
